Bakken Drilling Company is a U.S. corporation with interests primarily in the Bakken Shale region.  We Manage Joint Venture interests for a number of other Companies.  These working interest shares are held by individuals and other companies. We have been working with Energy Equity Corp on projects in Williams County north Dakota.  Energy Equity Corp has been focusing on Texas Oil Fields above the Eagle Ford shale in the San Miguel formation before working in the Bakken Shale.

Bakken Drilling Company is looking for investors to participate in numerous lease plays already in the works. We also plan are to drill wells on our Producing leases. The success we are having in the area is expected to continue.

All researchers agree that the Bakken Formation is a tremendous source of Energy. The controversy lies with how much oil and gas can be generated and how much is ultimately recoverable. Early research on the Bakken started with a 1974 landmark paper by Wallace Dow, a UND Geology graduate, that addressed the oil generation capacity of the Bakken shale.The Bakken still a controversy over how much oil the Bakken is capable of generating. We feel that we can continue to produce the Bakken economically.
